Title: T 100 490cc 1968
Post by: dynamic on January 10, 2019, 01:25:48 PM
what are the correct cylinder head torque settings for my T 100 ?

 I have from original manual : 4 x large cylinder nuts 25 lbs & 4 X rocker bolts/studs/5 lbs

I hope someone can confirm or correct me,   all input gratefully received

Just spotted your post and that's what my manual says as well. Be careful with the rocker cover nuts/studs. It's very easy to pull the studs out of the rocker cover. Don't ask how I know this.

Why don’t you believe your manual?

thanks for the reply's yes I was very careful with the rocker cover stud/nuts all torqued up and engine back in frame

MEMO TO SELF  far easier to remove rear engine plates before removing/refitting rebuilt engine

I now trust all print in my manual
