Who's pulling whose pisser around here? :)
-
in this cold I can't find mine to pull, let alone any one else's.
-
It might have helped if we'd been given a clue as to who this person is.
-
SIC TRANSIT GLORIA MUNDY.....cc,that is!
-
Was that intended to make me any the wiser?
-
he is telling his wife, Gloria that his Transit van has broken down, he'll be home Monday.
Like most of the transit van drivers round here thats probably as good as his english gets ::)
-
...And that's the ones who were born here.
How I'll miss all those cheery "Wotcha cock" greetings said in a heavy Albanian accent.. ;)
-
Our ones usually just hold up the parcel, point at the address and grunt.
I do my best to help them, but so many of them have ended up down a nearby mud lane with no turning point.
-
David Attenborough would have trouble finding your place.
-
yes, I do worry about him as I am an endangered species.
If he came in this weather he'll break his neck on the frozen mud and potholes down our lane.
I blame climate change, it wasn't this cold in July.
-
Thing is, if he fell and needed help you couldn't give him any. As he said about the baby elephant and the penguins, it's just the law of nature.
You could always get a camera and a cup of tea and then watch him slowly die while giving him no assistance in his distress.
Sorry Dave, you made the rules...
-
If he fell a speeding 4x4 or DHL van would flatten him.
There are tossers in such things as I've never seen before around here, had a sudden surge of middle-aged types dressed in identical jogging outfits, lycra oldies on new bikes and so on. I used to be able to go weeks without seeing anyone other than postman.
Thinking of getting a bigger dog for the joggers, shift them along a bit.
