Title: Spitting Tiger Cub
Post by: peteR on June 01, 2008, 08:54:00 PM
Hello guys.  I have a 1963 TIger Cub that I guess should have a Zenith carb?  However, someone has fitted a monobloc to it.  It starts well, and ticks over fine.  However, when the throttle is opened, there is a lot of intermittent spitting though the carb - but the engine does seem to run "OK" despite this.  Does ayone have any ideas as to what may normally cause this?

Thanks Pete

Go down one size with your slide cutaway, or check for air leaks between carb and head.
