British Bikes / Re: Binks carb on a 1926 Rover Car?

Have just inspected the car, and it turns out its a Smiths carb, so that explains the appearance problem. Sorry to have bothered you, and thanks for the responses.

Thanks . There is documentation on the model indicating the Binks was an original fitment - have seen this car and pics of another of same model with same carb. Havent had a chance to examine it yet, so dont know condition. There is a Factory book on the model on books.google.com but I cant find a way to read or download it. I found a doco on 1929 and 1930 Binks models but none resemble the one on this car. Still looking for ANY documentation I can find on the car and any of its systems.
Thanks

British Bikes / Binks carb on a 1926 Rover Car?

Also here on false pretences - no bike! See attached - Binks carb on a 1926 Rover 4 cyl, 1074cc. Can anybody point me at any info on this type carb - diagrams, parts pics, operation, adjustment please? I have seen another Rover 9 with the Binks replaced by a modern SU - maybe Mini size, but I would rather not do that.
Thanks
john
