yes and thats whats stamped on the lug 40-4**6 confused as there is no letters just 6 numbers no B25S etc...

Hi everybody, i bought a BSA starfire there awhile back and got stuck into doing her up a bit at a time, my concern is my frame number is different, as in it does not have B25 prefix, the number stamped on the frame is 40-4**6 and its on the front lug where it normally would, I have old brown logbook i got with bike and it has B25S followed with numbers but numbers dont match book, bit concerned as im looking to get the bike registered, Bike is on N.Ireland plate im from South of Ireland. Cheers guys
