Yes it is a pressed steel frame, the gear box number is EK 771  I think it is a two speed. Martin I have sent you a PM with my email address. It would be a great help to see your photos of the parts list and engine plates and cradle.

Just aquired a 1929 Coventry Eagle powered by a Villiers 172cc super sports TT engine. It came with an Albion gearbox which was seperate I think it is a 2 speed. Has anyone got a 1929 Coventry Eagle and could tell me how and where the gear box is fitted to the frame.
