Hi i have some pictures which may help you if you have not sorted out your fame yet. Also i set up a forum for bsa sunbeam and triumph tigress owners which you may find useful.
The steering head tube is attached by sliding into the mainframe and then held in place by two threaded bars with nuts and washers each end. Hope this helps.
