The Classic Biker Bar / Aberdale near done!
« on: January 04, 2018, 08:55:45 PM »
I have all but finished the restoration of my aberdale.
I know you would not expect much power from such a motor but I sense it is lacking power, it will wind up speed on the flat but slowly dies on any up hill climbs. could this be because the timing is out?

The Classic Biker Bar / New to restoring
« on: September 19, 2017, 11:15:43 AM »
Hi folk
Just thought i would do an intro!
A few weeks ago i bought an Excelsior, I have already stripped it apart. Thanks to this forum i have identified it as a 1950 model as the frame Number starts  with  DS.
I need a few things and was wondering if  someone here can advise!
I need
A the little  speedo right angle gear box that fits the brake hub.
Tank knee pads
And the little spring steel plate and knob for the clutch adjustment
