British Bikes / Odd size handlebar grip wanted
« on: March 13, 2013, 12:06:02 PM »
Looking for some grips to fit a 1929 Humber. The bars are 1" so the left grip is no problem, but the twistgrip is a side pull with an outside  diameter of 1 3/8". Looked everywhere to find one, any ideas?

Identify these bikes! / Triumph engine mystery
« on: April 02, 2012, 02:08:20 PM »
I'm trying to identify a 500cc Triumph engine, serial number GP 7301 MKII. At first I thought it was a Tiger 100 Grand Prix, as it has the alloy barrels of that model, but records show all of those had engine numbers starting with T100 and ending in R. Any ideas?

Don't miss this, it's all about Ernst Degner's defection. Weird to think it was 50 years ago.

Anyone out there know where we can find technical info for a 1929 model? We're particularly keen to obtain any engine data (clearances, valve timing etc.). Many thanks. www.bmct.org
