Hi all haven't been on for a while but have just been handed a couple of wing nuts with BSA embosed on both sides just wondering if anyone Knew what they might be off of eg BSA head,tool box ect..

Japanese Bikes / Yamaha MX 80 & GT 80

Hi all hoping my Aussie Yamaha collegues could help me out my 12yo son has just aquired a 1978 Yamaha GT 80 and what we were told was a MX 80.Now the GT has the id plate on the front yolk  but the MX(?) has no plate but has a number on the frone of the forks that matches the engine number,Would anyone be able to ID the MX(?) from these numbers.Thanx Leith Button

Hi all,
    Sorry to be a stranger,my wifes beesa is about finished.The neighbour though has just bought himself a Sprung Beesa project, and would like some info frame number looks like it reads YD1S3022 engine number 29841YD.Has this frame /engine combo been mixed and matched or are they matching numbers,secondly a he would like if possible some indication on the year/age of the bike.will try to get some pix up soon :D :D :D

Hi all,
    Will be in the UK in the next couple of days.Any UK members Know where I might get a bantam FIX while I'm there,or any members with Bantams,prefferrably D1-D3 (but any bantam breed will do  :) ;D),that I may come and drool over,sorry I mean see and admire very much :D :D :P

Just a thought (if it isn't already available) would it be possible to set up a "GARAGE" , "SHED"or "WORK SHOP" section on the site where members can show their bikes whether a current ride(s) or progressive pix of restos.here's an example of a couple here in Australia

      Wife purchased this BSA Bantam and was told it was a 1952 matching number bike.Here are some of it's details.
  BD3B Top of engine LHS near carby, YDIS 59657 on the front of
  6758
               the frame LHS , Type S55/MK8
                                     Spec. no   1130
                                    Serial no   20977

HI ALL,
       Hope I'm not intruding,I'm in Australia and my lovely wife has just bought herself a BSA Bantam,which she was told is a 1952 model,with matching frame & engine,as a resto project.Hopefully I have posted some pics for other members to see.
