British Bikes / Searching for tank origine .......
« on: October 20, 2019, 07:33:14 PM »
Gents,

One year ago I bought a French motorcycle in Germany.
It's a Magnat Debon CSS1 from 1931.
This is the last model having a Blackburne engine (so it's almost British ...  :D )

When I bought it it looked like a ... "bitza" ... (lucas magneto, big dellorto carb, ...)

After 1 year searching for original parts, it's a bit better

Anyway, I would like to know where this petrol tank is coming from.
Just to know ....

It seems to be from British motorcycle.
I've searched already a lot on google but didn't find.

Just for the fun and to put some pictures on the forum !

350 HSS from 1928

I will restaure mechanical parts (engine gear box, ..) but I will keep it in this condition.

350 HSSG-R from 1935 (fully restaured)

350 B4TL from 1954

500 RGAS from 1948

with DTP side car (not yet finished)

And the one I'm restauring at the moment: 500 RSS from 1934

The result should be something like that (in 2 or 3 years ....) :

European and Other Bikes / Terrot / Magnat Debon Paint and pattern
« on: January 04, 2006, 12:52:26 AM »
Hello,

I'm searching for all kind of Terrot or Magnat Debon pictures.
Taken during parts market or personnal.

Pictures, if possible, before restoration.

I would like to make an original "décors" database (color, lines width, pattern, .....)
Gazoline and oil tank, chain guard, .....

If you have some pictures to send me (good or bad quality), do not hesitate to contact me

Thank you very much.

Examples of what I would like to do.
