« on: September 30, 2020, 01:43:19 PM »
Hi Apart from Carole Nash can anyone recommend a good insurance company to do blanket cover on approx eight to ten vintage/classic bikes. The bikes are very rarely on the road as they are shown only at various shows around the country.  Many thanks.

British Bikes / 1965 AJS 250cc csr 14
« on: July 19, 2015, 04:27:20 PM »
Hi I have a 250 cc AJS csr 14 1965 and hope someone can give me a bit of info to rectify a problem. In 1st and 2nd gear it revs well and pulls well but when changing into 3rd it loses power and gives very little throttle activity. I recently had the tank resprayed and cleaned inside, so could it be filters not letting enough fuel through for the higher gears. As I know very little about this can I leave it in your capable hands.
 Many thanks Bud.

British Bikes / badge
« on: September 17, 2014, 11:45:35 AM »
Hi i have found a badge in a box of bits and pieces of a Sun motorcycle that we are restoring. On the badge it states F W CLARK. THE RIDER AGENT. 582/4  LONDON ROAD THORNTON HEATH.  There is also a clover leaf which states ACE HIGH FOR SERVICE.
Can anyone give me any info on F W Clark. Maybe he was was the dealer who first sold this bike or parts for it as i have seen similar badges on the front of mudguards.
        Many thanks Bud
