It's certainly up and down.

That closure is a shame and, I think, unnecessary. Another single make site that I'm on issued their privacy policy; to which members had to click their agreement to continue. Very simple in my view.
I think you're at more risk under the wing of these sprawling giants of the web.

I'm not saying a locknut isn't preferable, but if the wheel nuts hold the forks tight onto the cones there's little risk of movement.

I have heard digital meters can give funny readings under certain circumstances. If that's what you're using, try an analogue (needle) meter. If every thing else is OK and the battery shows the correct voltage (engine not running) and holds it's charge, I would ignore it. Why did you check the battery voltage with the engine running? It's not the normal way to do it.
More informed opinion may follow. Good luck with it.

Sensible reply. The plugs should give you a clue. If it is weak there could be several causes.

You've got to put the right bait on your hook. ;D

Almost a parallel to an oft. used sporting quote. "Form is temporary, class is permanent." It's no surprise that those who criticise Vincents and Broughs do not own one.

Thanks for that, not for me, but every success to your venture.

Yes, and some technical details please. The website didn't have much on it.

Just keep viewing the sites Ian. There's enough on most of them for a couple of psychiatric seminars.

A 60 cc increase in capacity should give you more torque. Not sure about the 10-1 C/R though.

That question reminds me of the problems page in a 1960s edition of Motorcycle Mechanics. If it hasn't been done before you can't expect a definitive answer. I don't think those engines were that robust; from what I've read.

Beware of new grab rails Grunt. I bought one many years ago for my T100R at Kempton. After a few years it rusted quite badly. I cleaned  the old one up and refitted it. It's still on the bike and looks reasonable.

Yes, but don't buy a Banksy. "Your painting will self destruct in ten minutes".
