British Bikes / Re: BSA Demise& Industrial Heartland Destruction
« on: October 15, 2012, 02:20:01 PM »
I always thought this site was underused, 4 topics a week, but the topic that generates most discussion is not about motorcycles at all!
It`s the same when I talk to people in the street or at shows, everywhere everybody is on about immigrants. Lancashire needs this new town for a white ghetto for people driven from their hometowns of Blackburn, Burnley, Nelson, Accrington, Bolton etc.   Did you like that?
Some of my best friends bikes are black.

Does anyone have a program for the first Brian Stonebridge Memorial meeting at Hawkstone Park ? I have a photo of rider  no.63 which I cant attach to this query .  What was the riders name ?  What was the bike? What size was the engine?   I think it was in 1960.

tandon. please bear with me ,first time on new computer. to JR ,my father is john babb, he says you must be the man on the AJS behind Stonebridge in our most treasured photo from his scrambling days.  Stick in the mud, I might live near you maybe meet? I will see if this reply works, then if it does I shall be up all night!   My dad says if you want to know about tandons phone him on 08432078352 .he is 88 years old, deaf and takes a while to get to the phone. PS if you want to talk about 1960·s sidecar sandracing he might remember that.
