Hi Sianie
The Dayton Flamenco had 174cc Villiers 2L Fan-cooled engine with electric starting and a three speed gearbox. It followed usual scooter design and was produced in conjunction with Panther and Sun so all three makes had a similar appearance. The Panther being called the Princess and the Sun Sunwasp.
The Flamenco had an easily detatchable rear end giving complete access to the engine for repair or removal.
Front suspension was by leading link. The Flamenco also had two storage compartments, the right one being lockable.
Dayton ceased production in the late 1960's.
I have two quite good pictures of the Panther and the Sun,but sadly not the Dayton. I have tried to send them as an attachment but they are both much bigger than the 100KB maximim size and I don't know how to reduce them. If you would like to see them send me a message and I will E-Mail them to you.
