Hi,
An interesting article about the future of engine development & why the 4 stroke philosophy of Honda has been foisted on us....
If you read the articles right the way through a good look into non-design philosophy versus practicality & why "plastic" bikes with poor performing engines are dominating not by good design but by coercing the powers that be & legislation

I was stuck in traffic, behind a rider, today and it struck me how bulky, badly proportioned, ugly & plastic 21st century new bikes are, if fact their only ace card is probably absolute power, how would they run against a Street Scrambler say an tuned modified Triumph Adventurer or a 550cc single B50 clone CCM adapted for the road in a Rickman frame?
We are talking about manoeuvrability, here boys!
Cheers
