Identify this cam follower please?

Does anyone recognise this? The bore is 5/8", it is 4" overall and 1" wide. It was in a box of bits and may not be motorcycle at all. It is unused by the look of it. Thanks chaps,

The clevis fitting pushrod arrangement narrows it down a lot. Still no idea though!

More likely a small dia roller to contact valve stem end.....Car part IMHO.

Rex, I thought that too, which made me think it might be something low revving and maybe automobile. Diesel perhaps? Anyway, a nice puzzle for a cold day!

Singer Le Mans 1935......just a wild guess.

Got out my Singer book and on page 117 is a picture of designer Leo Shorter with an OHC 'Nine' engine and I don't think the rocker would have fitted. I had seen inside my older sisters Nine saloon (English chassis with Aus made Flood Bros body) engine and pretty sure that rocker would have been too big to fit.
Would the rocker have had a needle bearing or brass bush in the centre of it?

Yeah,I know its not...cause I got a 1950 Singer motor in bits......Singers have a screw tappet adjustment,and are a lot more spindly looking.......Singers used to be the poor relations of MGs ,look at what they fetch now..........My brother had a Singer Le Mans ,and I used two of his spare conrods as clipons on my BSA Road Rocket....Worked a treat...Singer crank was the same dia as the BSA fork tube.....He wasnt pleased.
