DMW bike....

I have just bought a 1955/56 DMW Trials/Scrambler but know absolutely nothing about it. Does anyone happen to know anything, or know where i can find out? Pictures would also be great so that i can see what it would have looked like originally. I've found a couple on the internet but they're not of much help. Thanks, steve.

Good place to start is DMW themselves. There is a website www.nortonvilliers.com where the Villiers component is the old DMW firm.
Additionally,as with info on any old British bike, the Vintage Motor Cycle Club Library. Open to the general public you can find them on www.vmcc.net, look them up and do a library search. You will be amazed at what they have.
