triumph model???
« on: February 22, 2008, 10:06:37 AM »
hi
I bought this Triumph 11 years ago but im not sure what model it is. I believe it to be in original condition without any change of parts. The Engine # is TR5 19861 NA and the frame # is 19861 NA. It has 20 inch front wheel and 19 inch rear wheel and it has an alloy head and bore. This caused me to believe it to be a Trophy Model but the nacelle and Exhaust dont appear to be from a Trophy.
I would appreciate if anyone could help me identify this bike.
Thanks
Moose

I make it a 1952 model Trophy, but as far as im aware the nacelle was never fitted to the trophys, so thats probably a retro-fit
i dont know much else about this model, so i cant tell you much about your bike in particular, only that it looks like a fun project - I hope to see it restored

edit; and the silencer looks Norton

Thanks for the reply.
That was exactly my thought initially but it confused me after looking at a few 1952 T100's as they have the nacelle and look quite similar.
I'd be glad to get some more info on the bike.
