Puch, BMW 140ies-150ies? Help!

Hi everyone, first entry, Big question! Can anyone identify the bike above?

Photograph's taken sometime between 1945 and 1952 in central Germany.
It might be a BMW or Puch. Can't find a match online, the double fork completely throws me off.

Any ideas?

Thinking about it, the picture might be as 'young' as 1946-1957'....
