Help frenchy for his blackburne engine
«

Hi,
Sorry for my bad english
Last month, I bought a french motorcycle with Blackburne engine : 500 ohv twin port from 1930.
I search all information as possible because I will restaure this engine. And I can find anything in france.
And I want to know what engine model is it, because my french motorcycle is a "Racing model" like it's say in the original catalogue from 1930, but this engine is a racing?
Thank you for all

Hi Frenchy,
The Vintage Motor Cycle Club Library can help. They have literature on your engine.
For the 1930 range they have a 1930 catalogue of their range, a Hints & Tips booklet for the 1930 350, 500 & 600ohv engines and "Notes on Racing Engines" for the 1929-30 engines.
You don't have to be a member to get help from them.
Their website is
www.vmcc.net
.
Good luck with your restoration.
Cheers,
