Twin leading front brake.

(1/1)

dougie@35:
I have fitted a twin leading front brakeplate to my A10 to improve the braking (Anyone who has driven one will know what i mean) Can anyone tell me the best way to setup and ajust this type of brake...

TBS:
OK to set up a tls brake with a tie rod:
Firstly remove one clevis pin from one arm. Then with the aid of a friend, get him to pull up hard on both brake arms with a spanner on each brake cam nut. Adjust tie rod in or out so that the tie rod fork end is exactly in line with the clevis hole, sorted. Don't forget to replace with a new split pin. Of course this will only work if the drum is round, and not heat/tension distorted.
