Can you itentify this gearbox ?

Its definitely uncommon,not Sturmey,not Burman,not BSA,Sunbeam,Rudge,Triumph,Velo.Threads look 26tpi.but that doesn't rule out a continental box.Might be an own make like New Imperial,or New Hudson.Or a Moss or Jardine.A trip to the NMM might identify it.Regards John.

Studs at the bottom sets it apart.Not many had this.Panther 1930 ish comes to mind for the studs,but its not P&M.Not American,as it could then only be Indian or Harley.(unless its a lot earlier than it looks.)Or it could be from a car or van.I still think maybe continental.Regards John.

French Panther:
Looks rather a French box to me.
I saw one before, but cannot remember on wich make it was fitted.
