Probably Italian bike

(1/2) > >>

FilipCZE:
Hello guys, I have a problem to identify what bike I found. It has Rotax/Sachs engine. It has a Sachs logo on the gas tank, but I think it is just a sticker.
Today I found a ticket of a road tax from Modena from year 1958.
The frame looks like many Italian bikes, but there is none like this one. Could you, please, help me with this one?
Photos attached. If you need more, just let me know.

Cannot help you with it, but good luck as it is mostly complete and should be an easy restoration.

FilipCZE:
I have gone through like hundreds of pictures and I cannot find the frame. Then I would know if the tank or other parts are original.
Is there any other way than googling?

R:
Its unlikely an Italian made bike would use a sachs or rotax engine ?
I'd be thinking more german/austrian/european origins ?

The 1st thing to do is to identify precisely what engine that is, and what year(s) that would cover.
Is it 125cc, 50cc or something like that ?

Is there a brand on the carburettor.
Is there any numbers or makers marks on the headlamp, speedo, key, cables etc ?
Can you read a make on the old rego label

It does look very complete, and kinda all shipshape.
Polish it and ride off into the sunset ?

R:
This engine, which is in the family - but not the same -, comes up for Fitchel & Sachs AG, a 175cc.
Unfortunately without a year quoted for it.
