Title: BSA Goldstar
Post by: eric318 on May 06, 2005, 12:13:03 AM
Hello Bikers,

I have found you via Google. I come from the world of classic cars and I am trying to help a friend convert a BSA 350cc witha  dead cylinderhead into a 500cc Goldstar (I hope I got that right, I am still not sure about the B32 34 things... please forgive me).

So he needs all the upper engine bits, preferably alloy, used or new (I am sure somebody somewhere must rebuild these things new).

I went to a classic bikes shop in London but got no result or indication in which direction to look.

A couple of years ago there were a whole bunch of "used" Goldstar motors for sale at auction at Coys in Islington, and I now kick myself for not having bought one.

Anyway, I owe my friend a big favour and I hope I can find these bits for him.

Can anybody here help?

Thank you

Try Jan de Jong he runs a factory in Appingedam in the Netherlands. He produces complete Goldstar based classic racingbikes. All the parts needed for your project can easely obtained here!

Groet Simon.
