Title: Tracking a Panther 250

I've found two immaculate tax dics for a 250cc Panther (1957 & 1958) in between the sheets of a book. The registration is SYG 981. Any ideas on how to track the current owner? (if the bike still exists)

There is no record of that registration on the DVLA database, so I expect the bike was scrapped years ago?
