Title: '59 Speed Twin Frame Numbers

I've just bought this Triumph and am interested in tracking down any info I can. The engine numbers make sense to me for that year (029001) but the frame (790031), unless I'm looking in the wrong place is an odd number that I can't find any trace of.
The bike was brought back from South America some time ago and is for the most part complete, has had the motor rebuilt and only needs some minor assembly. It has the Delta head and unfortunately the previous owner removed the race exhaust system.
Any clues on the frame number 790031? Any chances of finding the correct exhaust for this model?

The frame number is supposed to match the engine number apparently? Sorry I cannot be more help although there are a couple of people here who may know more?

Yes, at this time engine and frame numbers matched. The frame number should be on the left-hand side of the lower portion of the headstock lug.
