Its either a Rudge 'Ulster' or a Rudge 'Special' both had the same frame and both had similar appearing engines. Does your Rudge have valanced mudguards? If it has, it will most likely be a 'Special'.

If you can, Check the engine number for a U or S prefix, that will tell you exactly what model it is.

Hi Fernando,
I think you might be missing one digit from the frame number. According to Bryan Reynold's 1977 book "Don't Trudge It, Rudge It" 61xxx would be 1937.
By the way, 1932 was a very special year for the Ulster - the only year that the 499 cc bike had radial valves.

I checked my Rudge Club register last night and it appears the number 6110 is actually a 1932 Engine number. Did you mean Engine number and not frame???

There is a 1932 'Special' in the register with the number 6112 fitted to frame 48286 which the club holds photo's of.

there is also a 1937 Sports Special in the register with frame number 61107 and engine number S3394 and thats in the Netherlands.
