Title: Carbide/acetylene lamp gas generator
Post by: neracarken on April 18, 2008, 04:30:25 AM
I'm trying to find a small gas generator 2-1/4" diameter and approx 6" high. The diameter is the more important dimension. I'd prefer a Powell and Hanmer, but will take anything. It doesn't need to be a working one - it's only to be used as a dummy.

Now have a very nice one through VMCC mag ads, but it's so  right I want to get a matching one for the front!  :)

It's a Joseph Lucas Type 44 - this is marked faintly on the top dome.

Well, I got an excellent one at Founders Day yesterday!
Mr. Moderator, you can now remove this.

Thanks.
