Title: please help me identify my machine

i recently bought a triumph cub t20 but the v5 says 1979 ..how can i find out how to date my frame please?

from what i can see i think it says
T4421
288681

288681 = 1957: http://www.tioc.org/serial_numbers.htm

(T4421) sounds like a lug casting part number, if so, it would be nothing to do with the serial number.
