Title: Carb Settings

Hi . i am having problems setting up my carbs on a1964 R E Interceptor. Amal Monobloc's the book says Main 380 Needle jet .1065 3 1/2 air slide, And needle on notch 3 or 4. I am down to position 2 and it still runs rich. With poor starting. Has anyone got any helpful suggestions?? Mick

what condition are the carbs in if they are worn your never going to set them up satisfactory also what the book says is only a guide every bike is different also is the ignition system in tiptop condition.

Make sure you have the longer D needle and not the shorter C needle out of a 376 mono.
