Hi all,
Can anyone help me with identifying the clutch in the pic? This is fitted to my M21, but doesn't appear to match the service book images? Was this an option or a modification that a previous owners done?
Thanks

Possibly a Triumph pre-unit clutch? With a special alloy pressure plate maybe? There appears to be some lettering on it, around the centre (if so what is it?)?

Well I checked the lettering and it has sort of answered my question - It says "DEVIMEAD" and a quick Google points me to the SRM engineering in the UK. Looks like the previous owner has had some tinkering done on the girl...
I probably should have mentioned, my patchy understanding of the bike's history is that one of the P.O. brought it over to Aust. from London with him. I have some correspondence from the BSAOC-UK that came with the bike. So many of the mods would have been done in the U.K.

Merry Xmas
I think L.A.B is right about the Triumph clutch conversion.
I am running a B31 and borrowed a friends Triumph clutch to try as a lot of people said it is much better than the original BSA item. They are right as well!
Thanks for the info on Devimead M21_in_Melbourne. My mate will want his clutch back sometime this year (07) I suppose and I need to find a replacement.
All the best
