Title: BSA S27 1927 Inverted Levers
Post by: pulhamdown on August 03, 2011, 06:00:06 PM
Hi.  I've got some new handlebar grips for my BSA S27.  This bike has the original inverted levers, with the front brake/valve lifter cables running through the centre of the handlebar.  The question is: how do I remove the inverted levers to get the old grips off, and the new ones on?  I can't see any fixings, other than the pivot bolt between the lever and the lever body.  Any ideas?
Thanks

Colin

look for little countersunk screws in the bars, at the ends, probably underneath.

I have an S26... I'll have a look next time I'm round at my mates (stored in his barn).

Hi,
I have an H29. There is a countersunk screw in the very end of the h/b under the grip. Mine has twist grip on right hand side so it was little tricky to get it all assembled in the right order.

Hi.  Thanks for the replies.  I'll have a go in a couple of weeks once the bike comes off the road for the winter.
Thanks
