Post by: akva on September 09, 2011, 03:57:34 PM
I am restoreing a royal enfield re 125. not shure of the model, but around the 40's i'm guessing.
The problem is I am missing the magneto cam in the miller magneto cover.. does anyone have information about this? anyone who own one who could send me the spesifications on the part so i could machine one? need it to get my ignition just right.

Miller ignition was also used by excelsior on their twins and, more numerously by velocette on the le and derivatives. Try the LE Club ? Graham

Dear all,

I am having the same issue and the Miller Magneto cam is missing.

I looked all over and cannot locate one.

Does anyone either;
1) Know of one for sale.
2) Have a spare to make a copy
3) Have a set of drawings to make a new one.
4) Any other suggestions.

Thanks
Lawrence
