I can't believe I'm supporting the old enemy France... but I'll be buggered if I can support Wales, they hate every Englishman!

Vive la France!

The wife was a Hughes, her Great Grandfather was Welsh , Her Grandmother was of Irish extraction, they weren't rooting for France @ home, although one of her ancestors was a baby who escaped the slaughter in 1789 or thereabouts, we usually watch every Rugby international going! England first then the others follow, not a fair decision though on Saturday, it spoiled the game in my view.
I have memories of visits to North Wales & people being hostile there, but in the South it was more friendly, my Grandfather was with the South Welsh Borderer's @ Paschendalle/Passchendaele in the Infantry, his ancestors were Primitive Methodists so there's probably a Welsh link somewhere in the past.
2/3 of Brits have some Celtic blood in them!

I have to disagree there John, I thought it was a deliberate spear tackle, you see his left elbow deliberately elevate his legs mid tackle and then he must have had second thoughts as he did not slam him down head first.... lost his bottle, but it was too late by then!

Yellow card?
