Title: Coat inside of petrol tank
Post by: andyw1260 on February 17, 2007, 05:23:29 PM
Hi all    I am resoring a petrol tank for my Bonnie, I have sorted the external out and removed the inside rust with hammerite rust remover ( which works ok if slow). I will treat any rust left so as to stabalize it but would like to know what is the best coating to use after that.

I would like to paint if anybody knows of a petroleum resistant paint, petseal is a thought but if I can get away with it I will.   Thanks      Andy
