Good job you posted a pic JBW, as unlike those still-common-as-muck British 250s, those Jappas died decades ago.... ;).

Me  I'd like to have both.

If I had to make a choice; it would be the S1; just for the sound ;D ;D ;D

oh and that haze of blue smoke so hated by enviromentalists :)

I had a green 250 , seem to remember a jet passage had never been drilled in the middle carb. Should have sandraced it. father says he still has some points for it because said it was the ignition.

Have you noticed the Japanese girl is on her mobile phone in sending a message to her mate in 1972!
S1 e.t.c.  noisy, smelly, fast,  anti-social, thirsty, everything we love about motorcycles, except the latter!
