Title: Pre War front wheel drive speedo cable re-manufacturer ?
Post by: Ronb on July 01, 2012, 11:43:54 PM

I have a Jaeger type smiths speedo that drives from the front wheel on my 1936 Excelsior (spade drive both ends)

The cable needs to be about 24 inches long.

Where can I get a reproduction cable made in the UK ?

Any thoughts

Gaggs (Nottingham?) used to be good for one-off speedo cables.

Thanks Rosko

I have had a look on Speedy's website and it looks promising.

Have sent them an Email to see if they can help.

Will report back when I get a reply
