Now here's something unusual. It's either a Servi-Cycle or a Simplex, which were built in New Orleans from the mid 1930s into the early 1960s. The name changed in 1952, but the design didn't. They looked very similar over this period, so you'll have to do some research to find out exactly what you've got. The base model used belt drive, either direct from the motor with no clutch (just like a veteran!), or with a centrifugal clutch mounted up high under the bottom of the seat spring. Some models were said to use a Villiers engine/gearbox.
