Title: TRIUMPH T140E

Hello,my bike has developed an annoying lurch/lag between no throttle and light throttle,points gap is spot on and was strobe set,valves are set to the manual,carbs are balanced,any ideas welcome.

Sounds like the twistgrip cables hanging up or the twistgrip itself needs grease?

Or the grip itself is spinning on the handlebar?

Had a 'lurch' and it was into traffic- pretty un nerving.

Looking at the plugs the colour seems to be spot on, both plugs are identical.Also i have turned both richness screws out the same number of turns which match the manuals advice.

if you turn either of the mix screws quarter turn what happens to engine speed at tick over ?

Hello,i will let you know about the mixture setting soon,i have just fitted a pair of 'peashooters' and a set of unbalanced headers and i can tell you that it's released more low to mid power than the standard cigar pipes did,and the sound is pure British now,wow!
