Post by: greaser58 on October 27, 2012, 09:18:31 PM
Hi all,ive got a meteor minor, minus engine. These engines seem difficult to get and exspensive. If i fitted an indian built 350 bullet engine, which i already have, would this be eligable for an age related number,i wouldnt want to to waste time and money building it and not being able to get it on the road.Any info greatly appreciated.

Hi Greaser
It probably depends what country you live in??
European norm seems to go with the frame date

Hi

You will need a dating certificate from The Royal Enfield Owners Club, Vintage Motorcycle Cub or similar recognised outfit, the date is based on the frame number so you should be OK, but to be sure why not ring one of them and ask the question?.

Annice Collett  Is the person to ring at the VMCC and she is very helpful, the number is  +44 (0)1283 495102
