Can anybody tell me where I find an engine number on an AJS side valve motor approx. 1924/25?
It has a stirrup holder over the cylinder head.
Thanks,

All you need is the rest to make it a goer! (http://i244.photobucket.com/albums/gg3/takka22/000_0701.jpg) (http://s244.photobucket.com/user/takka22/media/000_0701.jpg.html)

I have now found a number on the motor. It is 9320.
Any body have an idea from this number as to the age of the motor?
Thanks,
