Title: AJS 1920,s
Post by: rarpos7 on August 18, 2013, 05:56:15 AM
Can anybody tell me where I find an engine number on an AJS side valve motor approx. 1924/25?

It has a stirrup holder over the cylinder head.

Thanks,

I have attached photos of the motor.
I cannot find any engine number or marks on the crankcases.

Thanks,

I have now found a number on the motor. It is 9320.
Any body have an idea from this number as to the age of the motor?

Thanks,
