Title: Amal 389 carb settings for Gold Star
Post by: forknut on April 27, 2007, 05:05:26 AM
Hi,
I have a BSA ZB 34 Gold star engine fitted with a Amal 389 monobloc carb.
Can anyone please tell me what settings I should have for the main jet, pilot jet, needle and slide?
Thanks,
Ian.

Ian,

I believe you should have:
Throttle Valve: 389/3
Main Jet: 240
Needle Position: 2
Needle Jet: .1065

Hope this helps

Nigel.,
