Hi guys,
I have just acquired this cutie a couple of days ago and is currently sitting in my living room:). It should be a Roamer with a Villiers engine. According to the certificate of ownership the engine is 97cc and the bike was build 01/01/1955.
Find attached some photos.
Any further information regarding the model, the engine model or any general information about Roamer bikes would be greatly appreciated. :)
Thanks,
Costas

Hi Costas,
Nice little bike! We have had some discussions that relate to Roamer/Rambler/Norman motorcycles:

Have a read of these and see if there is anything useful. WHat country is the bike in?
Cheers

Wow - there's a Norman Club: http://normanmotorcycles.org.uk
Have a look at the brochure for the 1951-55 Model D.

Hi Leon,
Many thanks for all the information, the bike is located in Cyprus, (very far from Australia). It looks like a Norman Model D with a 4F engine. I was just trying to find some pics so i can see what the original Roamers looked like but there seems to be nothing out there.
Let me know in case you come across to anything interesting.
Thanks again,
Costas

Hi Costas,
It's quite possible that Normans were sent to Crete as Roamers after the war. Norman used the Roamer name for bicycles as well, and there again the machines were the same except for the name.
Have fun with the bike.
