Post by: phil bsa b31 on July 16, 2017, 06:23:39 PM
Hi trying to fit gear linkage in my 1949 bsa b31 box seems to me like a bucket of worms when I finally get the linkage in seems correct but wont change gear if I change gear on square before linkage works fine
stripped it all clean and lubricated ,any help would be good

thanks Phil

Hi,
Set up should be the same as the M20 box shown here,

Hi Phil,
The link length adjustment is critical to get correct
any wear in the pins,  links and so on leads to troubles
Its a while since I built one so memory is iffy??
