Title: Newby here - need advice on Bike
Post by: PeterJeppsson on September 09, 2007, 08:59:18 PM
Hello guys, I´m new here on this forum and here´s my first 4 questions:
I´ve found a 1946 Triumph Speed Twin 500cc.

1. Is it hard to find parts on the net for this bike?

2. Is it a common bike among vintage bike-owners?

3. Can I find original papers for this specific bike? It was brought to Sweden from Nepal many years ago, and there are no papers available. Who can I talk to, to see if it´s possible?

4. Where to find restoration-material, such as books, tips and hints about this specific model?

Any help is appriciated...
 :)

I suggest you join the Triumph Owners Motorcycle Club as they will be able to assist with any technical help and advise where best to get any spare parts that you may need.
