Title: Sloper engine rebuild
Post by: rick on September 17, 2007, 05:16:30 PM
Hi Guys
need to pick your brains again the drive side of my 1929 350 slopper crank pin shows on the parts manul as having two bearings with a spacer, these are located in the housing. When I stripped the engine it had two roller bearings on this side however the parts boook shows that it should have 1 roller and one needle bearing the needle bearing is located nearest the fly wheel.
I can get replacments however the suplier has asked me what type of needle bearing i need as there appears to be 4 or five differnent manufactured types.
Any one got an answer

Rick
