Hi, living in Sweden and in the process of restoring my Norton Model 18 1937, i am after an engine gasket set for the early 1937 model, have surfed the internet for a link to purchase, but have not been succesful at all. Any ideas?

I don't think that you'll find a "gasket set" for pre-war Norton models as they are a more modern invention.
The 1937 motor wouldn't have a lot. Your head joint is just lapped isn't it ? There should be a paper base gasket but that is easy to make.
I have a 1937 parts list covering all models. Let me know if you need any info from it.
Rich.

Try Norvil: http://www.norvilmotorcycle.co.uk/
They might have the individual parts you need.
