Hello,
I live in Canada and recently went down to the US to buy a project bike (1968 Triumph TR6R). Before I went I obtained what little paperwork I could get through International Title Service. The guy I bought the bike from did not have a title but provided me a bill of sale. They allowed me to import the motorcycle into Canada since it was 15 years or older and all it required was a current registration slip (Which ITS gave me, out of alabama) and a bill of sale. Now here is my question, will I be able to register and insure this bike once I am finished with restoring it? I do have a Canadian customs form filled out allowing the importation and the paperwork from the border. Other than that I only have a current registration slip from Alabama (which apparantly doesnt count as a title) and a few bills of sale. I am curious if anyone can help me? and any advice how to obtain a legal title for this bike?
Thanks for the help

I would ask your local licensing office who should be able to help, but I would imagine you would need a dating certificate as proof of year of manufacture. You could obtain this from:
http://www.vmcc.net or http://www.iwvmcc.co.uk/roybacon/ or
