I just picked up a 1962 Ariel Arrow SS project bike. A quick review tells me that I’m going to need quite a few parts to get this thing restored, as well as a paint job. It appears somewhere in its life it received a coat of brush applied latex paint.
I’m starting my quest with an ignition key.
Does anyone know any sources Arrow ignition keys?
A picture would be helpful in determining what type key I might be needing.
Thanks.

A pic of the lock would help to determine what key you need, too?
I'm guessing one of the regular FS-type keys as used on everything back then, or is it one of those daft Triumph things which could be turned with a screw driver?

This is shown as a generic switch for Ariels - without specific mention of an Arrow.
Look familiar ?

Well, you were right. It is the type you can turn with a screwdriver. Think I'll order a key just for looks. ;D
Many thanks.
